  I Have A Question About A Dog

  i would like to have your opinion on something if you don't mind.

  my girlfriends dog, a scottish terrier, is a wonderful lovable dog about fiveyears old.

  my girlfriend owns a hair salon and takes her dog with her and the dog greets clients very lovingly.

  Sometimes it has to do with the energy they are giving off. Animals sense "vibes", so there is something there the dog isn't liking.

  Craziest thing you ever did during intermission at a Circuit Assembly

  1970 - there was a local drag strip a few miles away from the hall rented for the circuit assembly.

  i was 18 , tim o. was 16 and wayne d. was 18. wayne had a 1955 chevy 4 door, 6 cylinder and fresh paint job.

  tim had his dad'ss 1965 chevy half ton.

  I once left a District Assembly at lunch and spent the entire afternoon at the mall shopping. It was so much better than sitting at that boring assembly all day.

  Oh and one I forgot - I grew up terrified of the end of the world. Once you have faced down the world ending not much scares you 😀

  I would say leaving it had made me stronger, more resilient. I don't put up with shit. it has helped me be very much aware of when people are manipulating me or a situation. I have learned to evaluate things presented to me as facts, to see if they really hold true. I learned that people will only treat you as poorly as you allow them to. I am confident in my decisions and abilities. None of that came from being a Witness, it all came from leaving 😀

  Last Week I Got A Call From An Elder I Haven't Seen In 20 Years...😳

  while i was at work i got a phone call from an elder i haven't seen in decades!

  he started asking me questions about my family, my ex, and told me that he heard i "was no longer in the truth".

  i got a little defensive and he quickly picked up on it and assured me his call had nothing to do with checking up on me regarding the religion.

  After being out nearly 20 years, a sister from my childhood hall contacted my parents and asked for my address. I denied permission to give out my contact information. I have closed the book on the JW part of my life, and won't reopen it. Anyone still in the religion has nothing to offer me, not many can do what that elder did, and just act normal.

  You may be able to make up your own mind, but many cannot on both the Left and the Right. So they follow whoever is most hysterical. And going back to the OP, the media plays a role in that. I don't love Trump - I think he would do a lot better if he would stop talking.

  Landy - there is most definitely hate directed at the Right. The whiners have some bewilderment caused by the media telling them the sky is falling. But there is hate from the Left and lots of it.
